Nigerian dancer Benjamin Daniel Gabriel is aiming for a world record after dancing for more than seven days.⁣
⁣
Known as Ben Dancer, the 32-year-old had danced for 176 hours by Tuesday, surpassing the current record of 127 hours set by Indian dancer Srushti Sudhir Jagtap in 2023.⁣
⁣
Crowds joined Gabriel at a venue in Lagos as he performed to Afrobeats, Makossa and other popular music.⁣
⁣
Gabriel said his goal goes beyond the record, hoping to draw global attention to African indigenous dances.⁣
