Four years into doing content full-time, I nearly lost everything 😳 When I first started, being a creator felt like the ‘dream job’, and it really was.. I could work creatively, from anywhere, and out-earn my salary at the same time! So it may come to no surprise that only one year in, I decided to hand in the towel and quit my marketing job to do content full time! The problem, however... was that first time around, I treated the whole thing like a hobby. An account run entirely on vibes, with very little business strategy... Four years in, reach slowed down, and everything started slipping. I lost followers, lost income, and realised winging it was going to run me into the ground. It got to the point where I had to actually go back into a corporate career until I learned how to run this page like an *actual* business! So, that’s what I did... Between the 9-5, I never stopped posting. But this time... I started checking my analytics properly to see what content actually converted. I built my membership based on the things people ACTUALLY wanted (and asked for every single day). And I finally set up automated backend systems with manychat so leads and sales could run smoothly in the background while I focused on creating! Turns out, being a creator WAS a real job the whole time. I just needed the backend and strategy to match. Thank you so much to manychat for partnering with me on this post 🤍 I say this all the time, but I genuinely could not have the success I’ve achieved without this tool helping me in the background every single day! 💬 Tell me in the comments: do you consider content creation a “real job”?
