SEPTEMBER TREND ROUNDUP 🩵

Here’s everything that’s trending on IG right now! 🔥

From carousel trends and animations, to post prompts and iconic design trends, I’ve got it all in this incredible post!!

Here’s what’s about to trend in October 2026:

📱 STORY GRAB - feed posts disguised as an Instagram stories!

🌸 STORY COLLAGES - Turning your daily stories into scrapbook-esque collages like nihaokylen

🔁 REPEATED SENTENCES - One sentence. Over and over. Sounds too simple to work but newmentalities hit 27.9k shares with it so...

✨ MOVING BACKGROUNDS - Adding animated shapes behind your photos!

✂️ CUT-OUT CAROUSELS - Clipping tiny elements from a photo and weaving them into the text above (so cute!!)

💬 UNEXPECTED TEXT - putting words somewhere surprising is stopping people mid-scroll

🧃 GLASS POV - Shooting from inside a glass looking up has taken over brand content and it works so well! Prompt’s in the carousel to try it yourself 📸
