In case you missed it… here’s what’s going on in the world of Instagram right now!

💸 META ARE MAKING US PAY FOR BASIC FEATURES NOW???

A few things that really should be available to everyone are now sitting behind Meta’s new ‘Meta One’ paywall… 🥲

including: links in comments, original credit for your Reels, and impersonation protection. Not ideal 😬

✨ SOME OF THE *OTHER* NEW META ONE FEATURES ARE ACTUALLY PRETTY COOL

tbf there are some genuinely exciting new features too, and they’re pretty much all geared towards helping you grow 👀

📖 A STORIES-FIRST VERSION OF INSTAGRAM IS BEING TESTED

Meta are trialling an app that opens straight into Stories rather than the feed!

🎬 FIRST DRAFT FOR REELS

IG just released a new ‘First Draft’ feature that takes video clips you’ve selected, and auto-assembles a starting point for your reel! 🙌
