Carousels that go viral EVERY single time 🎠 Part Two ✨

Carousels are one of THE best performing post types on Instagram!!

They’re how I grew my page to 150k+ followers (90% of my posts are carousels!!)

But here’s what most people miss…

It’s not just about WHAT type you make. It’s about understanding WHY people engage with them 👇

🧠 THE PSYCHOLOGY:
People engage with carousels for 3 reasons:

1️⃣ IDENTITY - aka “This is SO me” content, it gets shared because it helps people express who they are, and they want the world to know that so they share!

2️⃣ VALUE  - If someone learns something useful, they save it. If it’s REALLY useful, they share it. Pretty simple, but 100% works 💯

3️⃣ CURIOSITY - Clever carousels (Movement, unexpected formats, “hold & scroll” mechanics, insane photo dumps etc) trigger the brain to keep watching (👀 We can’t look away from things that surprise us!)

The best carousels hit at least ONE of these

Ones that go VIRAL hit two or three 🔥

Before you post your next carousel, ask yourself:
✅ Will someone see themselves in this? (Identity)
✅ Will someone learn something worth saving? (Value)
✅ Will someone be surprised by the format? (Curiosity)

If you can say yes to at least one… you’re golden babyyyy 💛

💬 Comment: “TEMPLATE” and I’ll send you Canva templates for all 8 carousel types in this post! 🩷
