The New Orleans Jazz Museum, NOLAxNOLA 504, and the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation present OVJ Collective 🎶💃🏽🎺
Experience the energy of New Orleans through a one-of-a-kind Latin music celebration!
Join us on Friday, October 2, at 2:00 p.m. as we welcome OVJ Collective as part of our 2026 Hispanic Heritage Month celebration.
Led by Ovi-G, legendary trombonist Victor Campbell, and Jafet Pérez, OVJ Collective is a dynamic New Orleans–based band whose name comes from the founders behind the group’s acronym. Known as the only band in the city delivering a true Spanglish musical experience, they seamlessly blend English- and Spanish-language hits with high-energy Latin rhythms, including salsa, bachata, merengue, and reggaeton.
Born from the collaboration of acclaimed projects, including Victor Campbell & The Timba Swamp, JP Band, and Ovi-G Presents Xtra Cash!, OVJ Collective transforms familiar songs into vibrant, dance-driven arrangements that bring audiences together across cultures.
Deeply rooted in the musical spirit of New Orleans, their sound is infused with funk, soul, and second-line traditions, creating a unique fusion that is both authentic and unforgettable.
