If you want to stay active as you get older, don't underestimate **flexibility**.

According to **Dr. Jason Snibbe, orthopedic surgeon for the Los Angeles Lakers and the Kardashians**, stretching may be one of the most important things we can prioritize as we age.

As he shares with Andrea Miller, keeping arthritic joints moving can help maintain:

🦵 Range of motion
🩸 Blood flow and circulation
💪 Strength and mobility
🚶 The ability to keep moving independently

And when it comes to strength training, you don't necessarily need incredibly heavy weights.

Dr. Snibbe recommends resistance exercises that activate the muscles, with special attention to the **quads, glutes, and core**.

Those are the muscles helping propel you forward, stabilize your body, and quite literally keep you on your feet.

The goal isn't just getting stronger.

It's maintaining the physical freedom to keep doing the things you love.
