Three games down. Colorado is 2-1. The first quarter of the season is officially over — and now the second quarter begins with Big 12 conference play against Baylor.

But after the 41-7 loss to Northwestern, Coach Prime did something at practice I haven’t seen him do since Jackson State: he went up into the stands at Folsom and watched practice from a completely different perspective.

Why?

I’ve got the exclusive video of Coach Prime explaining it to his team — plus footage of him sitting in the stands studying practice.

On this Morning Wood, we break down what I’m watching against Baylor:

• Colorado’s response after Northwestern
• Why the Buffs must keep running the football
• Baylor’s explosive passing game
• The expected return of DJ Lagway
• Julian Lewis responding to adversity
• And what Coach Prime may have seen by changing his view

The first quarter is over.

Conference play starts now.

New quarter. New perspective. Now show me what you fixed.
