In 2021, Kids in the Spotlight (KITS) was selected to participate in the Super Bowl LVI Legacy Program in recognition of their commitment to helping foster youth heal, grow, and find their voices through storytelling. With the Super Bowl returning to the Los Angeles area this February, KITS has continued to build on that momentum, with support from the Champions Shine Here grant. This funding has helped KITS purchase a production studio in Van Nuys while expanding its work in production, development and providing youth with meaningful opportunities to engage in the entertainment industry.
