LITERALLY JUST WALK AROUND… #TeamDL

midlife.muse :
I asked men and women the exact same question:

“If you were guaranteed safety after dark, what would you do?”

Some of the men didn’t even understand the question.

The women did.

“I’d go for a walk.”
“I’d sit alone on a park bench.”
“I’d go dancing.”
“I’d just… be outside.”

Nothing extraordinary.

That’s what struck me most.

Women weren’t asking for adventure.
They were asking for the freedom to do ordinary things without calculating the risk.

For so many men, nighttime simply means the day got darker.

For so many women, it means their choices get smaller.

Imagine how different the world would feel to women if safety didn’t have a curfew.
