Straight after the ceremony at El Salvador Church, we headed into the heart of Nerja for a relaxed bride and groom portrait session around the church square and the iconic Balcón de Europa.

This is one of the reasons I love an El Salvador Church Wedding Nerja so much. Within just a few minutes’ walk, you have beautiful old-town streets, elegant architecture, whitewashed buildings and incredible Mediterranean sea views.

The church square gives us that classic Nerja character, while the Balcón de Europa adds a completely different feel with its open views across the coastline. It is the perfect combination for natural, romantic wedding photos without taking the couple away from their guests for too long.

For couples planning a wedding in Nerja, this area really does offer everything — a beautiful church ceremony, stunning surroundings and some of the best locations in town for timeless bride and groom portraits.
