Why’d they do JB like that 😭

Jaylen Brown joining the Sixers is one of the most stunning trades the league’s seen in years, the Celtics sending their Finals MVP to a hated division rival in exchange for Paul George and draft capital. Brown’s bringing real in-his-prime star power to Philly, teaming up with Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey after averaging 28.7 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 5.1 assists in a career season last year.

What makes it even wilder is the timing, Philadelphia just eliminated Boston in the playoffs before landing one of their core pieces months later, and Brown himself admitted he’s still processing being dealt to a division rival. Sixers fans spent a decade hating this guy, now they’re counting on him to help deliver a title.

Does Jaylen Brown’s fit with Embiid and Maxey make the Sixers real contenders?
