Ben Affleck is looking back on a scary incident from his adolescence.

The actor discussed having a knife pulled on him as a teenager during an interview with Kerry Washington on her podcast "Street You Grew Up On." He shared that while walking home from school, two teens crossed the street to confront him. “It’s that thing where you’re like, ‘Okay. I’m either gonna run—’ but of course, the worst thing you could do is run,” he remembered.

However, Affleck didn’t end up getting hurt. “Out of the corner of my eye, I realized who they were!” he said. “I recognized them from playing baseball. And they were older boys that I knew. And they were like, ‘Oh, yeah, what’s up?’ So I was like, ‘I guess I’m off the hook?’”
