Guy Gardner was the punchline—until his friends finally tell us what he was really doing. 💚

The reunion starts with old stories and jokes about Guy’s big personality. Then John reframes the beatings: Guy deliberately made himself the target so enemies would focus on him instead of his friends.

The final salute hits differently once you know where they’re heading. Was Guy’s sacrifice one of the most moving Green Lantern stories—or did this reveal change how you see him?
