In the final weekend before league play returns after the international break, FC St. Pauli hosted Borussia Mönchengladbach for a friendly. The occasion brought newly-appointed Gladbach trainer Alexander Blessin back to Hamburg and the club he coached for the last two seasons. If you follow German football you might know that St. Pauli has a unique and strong fan culture as well as a unique location, situated next to a WWII bunker that overlooks the stadium.
