Banned Books Week is October 4–10, but we should be speaking up and advocating for freedom every day!

This clip was taken from my interview with the one and only #1 New York Times Bestselling Author @alangratz - I was much younger at the time, but his words have stayed with me.

I read BAN THIS BOOK in third grade and it instantly became one of my favorite reads. In this clip Alan shares a few ways kids can become involved in protecting our freedoms in today’s world and for future generations.

I hope to get a chance to speak with Alan again on E Train Talks. In the meantime, feel free to watch the interview, and let’s do our part to protect our freedom and “Let Books Be!”
