A one-of-a-kind condo building is springing up in Ankeny as Prairie Trail continues to fill in with several construction projects underway.

Justin Washburn, director of brokerage at caliberrealty, told us on a recent tour of the building that The Collier is a unique development to Ankeny and offers the best of both worlds with a location near the quieter Vintage Park and the busier thedistrictatprairietrail  commercial area.

Its 22 units, with high ceilings and big windows, range in size — with many units just under 1,700 square feet with two bedrooms and two-and-a-half baths. They also range in price, selling for around $350,000 for a first-floor unit that faces north and $650,000 for a third-floor unit that faces south.
