FOX Big Noon Kickoff’s arrival in Lincoln began Tuesday with Nebraska volleyball star Harper Murray meeting fans on the University of Nebraska campus.

Murray signed autographs and handed out shoes from Adidas during the first of several events planned around Saturday’s matchup between No. 7 Indiana and Nebraska at Memorial Stadium.

“It’s about giving back,” Murray said. “Nebraska has done so much for me, and so has Adidas. It’s fun to get to do things like this and get the students involved, too, because they’re a part of our fan base and they come and support us every day.”

More FOX Big Noon Kickoff activations are scheduled for Thursday at 6 p.m. at the Railyard and Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at DICK’S Sporting Goods in Lincoln. The Big Noon Kickoff bus will be part of both events.

The network’s pregame show will broadcast from Meier Commons on Saturday before the 11 a.m. kickoff. NTV Sports’ Big Red Rundown will lead into FOX’s coverage.

The atmosphere is building for one of the season’s biggest matchups, with both teams entering unbeaten at 5-0 and 2-0 in Big Ten play.

Indiana, the defending national champion, is ranked seventh in the Associated Press poll and fifth in the coaches poll. The Hoosiers have won 21 straight games and own a 32-2 record under coach Curt Cignetti.

Nebraska is off to its first 5-0 start since 2016 and its first 2-0 Big Ten start since 2017. The Huskers rank ninth nationally in scoring offense at 43.6 points per game and 15th in scoring defense, allowing 14.2 points per game.

Indiana ranks eighth nationally in scoring offense at 44.2 points per game and fifth in scoring defense at 10.8 points allowed per game.

Saturday marks the first time Memorial Stadium has hosted a defending national champion since Texas visited Lincoln in 2006. It is also Nebraska’s first game against a ranked opponent this season.
