Nebraska guard Connor Essegian meets with the media before the Huskers’ preseason exhibition against Saint Louis.

Essegian says he has been a full participant since summer workouts after returning from injury. He discusses the precautionary boot for toe soreness, adding strength in the weight room, his excitement to get back on the court at Pinnacle Bank Arena and what he learned while sidelined last season.

Connor also breaks down Nebraska’s deep roster, the competition for playing time, what freshmen Jacob Lanier and Colin Rice have shown, and how the Huskers are handling heightened expectations after last year’s NCAA Tournament run.
