🐄 Industrial animal agriculture is the leading cause of habitat destruction and biodiversity loss = global climate chaos.

Forests are cleared to raise livestock, killing or pushing wild animals out of their natural habitats. According to a poll conducted by the Washington Post and the University of Maryland, 🍔 75% of Americans don’t connect meat and dairy consumption to climate change.

🌿 Take the Brazilian Amazon, for example — in just the last 30 years, 95% of deforestation (including intentionally set fires) 🔥 has been the result of clearing for cattle and feed crops. The scale of this destruction is leading the Amazon toward a tipping point where the rainforest will transition to dry savannah—halting its ability to prevent climate change.

Take action! ➡️ The truth is, plants are way more efficient! We can grow more food for more people, using less land — while protecting forests, wildlife, and our future. Learn more about industrial animal agriculture via the link in our bio.
