Our WCU Player of the Week presented by Carolina Ford Dealers is Josh Perry of catamountsfb

Perry rushed for a career-high 157 yards and a pair of touchdowns in the second half of the Catamounts 44-20 upset victory over #8/9 Tennessee Tech on Saturday night in #CatamountCountry . Perry's career night came on a career-best 25 carries as he added three receptions for 26 yards and totaled 181 all-purpose yards.

Perry's first score was him breaking free on a 35-yard touchdown run to cap an 80-yard scoring drive in the opening drive of the second half. For his second score, Perry scored the middle touchdown in 17 unanswered points for WCU in a second-half onslaught to lead to a 24-point victory over the Golden Eagles.

WCU battles it's second-straight ranked opponent on Saturday in Macon with #18/20 Mercer before returning home on Oct. 24 for a 2:30 pm homecoming showdown against Chattanooga.
