This is the one variable everyone overlooks, and if you stick around till the end of the video I show you exactly what to do so you can leverage it to maximize HRV and VO2max.

In isolation there’s little to say about it, little to do, little to understand. But with a background in exercise physiology and biomedical neuroscience, I can tell you that when you cross-reference it with everything else, it exposes the biggest bottlenecks limiting your autonomic nervous system function and cardiovascular tone.

I see it constantly… Guys who train hard, eat clean, and clearly look the part, yet their HRV, resting heart rate, and VO2 max don’t match the work they’re putting in.

There’s almost always one upstream lever they’re missing, and pulling it shifts the whole system: sleep quality, recovery, cardiovascular tone, and a lot more.

Most people are out here chasing HRV with breathwork apps and VO2 max with intervals, working downstream of the same input the whole time. Once you see how it all connects, you can’t unsee it.

What’s your resting respiratory rate sitting at? DM or Drop it below and let’s see if there’s a bottleneck. Bonus points if you add your HRV, RHR, VO2max 😉
