I’m in uniqlousa’s San Francisco new store campaign, a year after moving here to build Ruth.

I’ve shopped at UNIQLO for years and it’s been one of the places that has been instrumental in dressing as my higher self.

So being invited to be part of the San Francisco People Campaign felt extremely special.

Moving here has involved a lot of putting myself out there, asking questions, and accepting help.

I’m grateful for the people who have made room for me in San Francisco.

Getting to participate in something that celebrates this city makes me feel a little more at home.

And to everyone who has followed along through the career changes, shared my work, or sent an encouraging message: thank you.

It’s easier to keep trying when people remind you they’re rooting for you.

Thank you, UNIQLO, for including me in your San Francisco story.

I’m really happy I get to share this with you.
