Lester Hayes was about that life 💀

Jerry Rice on the 49ers wasn’t just the best receiver of his era, he’s still the standard every receiver since has been measured against. 1,549 career receptions, 22,895 receiving yards, and 197 touchdown catches, numbers that aren’t just records, they’re records nobody’s realistically ever going to touch.

What made him so dangerous was the combination most receivers never have, elite route running paired with a relentless work ethic that had him outworking guys half his age well into his late 30s. Jerry Rice wasn’t just great for a season or two, he was the most dominant receiver football’s ever seen for nearly two decades straight.

Where does Jerry Rice rank among the greatest players in NFL history, not just receivers?
