prayers to Edgerrin Cooper… you hate to see it 😪

Edgerrin Cooper’s season ended in heartbreaking fashion Sunday, a non-contact Achilles tear in the third quarter against the Buccaneers that had the whole Packers sideline take a knee the second it happened. He was carted off with nine tackles, a sack, and an interception already on his line that game, playing like exactly the breakout star Green Bay thought they had.

That’s what makes it sting even more, Cooper had 21 total tackles and two sacks through the first three and a half games this year, building on a second season where he racked up 118 tackles. Losing him for the year is a brutal blow for a defense already missing Micah Parsons to a torn ACL.

How much does losing Cooper change Green Bay’s defense the rest of the season?
