Cooking with Purple Rain on my mind ☔️

One of my favorite moments touring with Prince was when we would end the show with Purple Rain. As the song reached its final moments, lavender and white confetti would drift down from above while thousands of voices sang together. Standing on that stage it felt like time slowed down for a second.

There was this feeling of complete connection like we were all breathing the same breath, moving to the same heartbeat. It felt magical. It felt weightless. It felt like we were all levitating together.

Years later, it’s still one of the most beautiful memories I carry with me. One of those rare moments that reminds you how powerful music can be, and how lucky we are when we get to share it with each other.
