🚨 TRY THIS TOMORROW!

The next time you give students a multiple-choice question, don’t just ask them to choose the correct answer.

Ask them to RANK the answers from BEST to WORST.

Then ask them to explain WHY.

That’s it. One simple shift.

But think about what just happened instructionally. Instead of simply identifying the correct answer, students now have to compare, evaluate, justify their reasoning, and think more deeply about the content.

Same question. Same lesson. A whole new level of thinking.

Veteran educator JoAnne Miller is showing us how one small change can take an activity from GOOD to GREAT.
