🎬 Avec Les Éléphants dans la brume, Prix du Jury Un Certain Regard à #Cannes2026, actuellement à l’affiche, Abinash Bikram Shah a fait entrer le Népal pour la première fois dans la sélection des longs métrages cannois. Quelques années plus tôt, il avait déjà été distingué par une mention spéciale pour Lori, présenté en Compétition des courts métrages.
Des longs aux courts métrages, chaque année, de nouveaux pays de production rejoignent  le Festival et nous invitent à découvrir d’autres territoires de cinéma.
🌍 Retour sur les pays qui ont fait leur entrée dans la Sélection officielle depuis 2000.

🎬 With Elephants in the Fog, winner of the Un Certain Regard Jury Prize at #Cannes2026 and currently in French cinemas, Abinash Bikram Shah brought Nepal into the Cannes Official Selection’s feature film lineup for the first time. A few years earlier, he had already received a Special Mention for Lori, presented in the Short Film Competition.
From feature films to short films, new production countries join the Festival every year, inviting us to discover new cinematic horizons.
