whānau 🤙💜

The feedback from our special edition whānau jerseys in Winter season was amazing 🙏 It was an incredible opportunity to honour my friend who had passed , but it also created an incredible bond within the player groups.

So much so , that people wanted more , and they wanted to see some more styles. 🤔

So.. As i always do , i listened, and i got to work!

Introducing our 2 new whānau jersey designs for the summer season. 🏆 🫶

These will be given to our teams throughout the season, and be available for purchase during summer season 🤙💜🖤

whānau represents an interconnected network of kinship, shared responsibility, and collective identity. In modern Aotearoa (New Zealand), the term has evolved. It is frequently used metaphorically to describe a group of people who are not related by blood but are bound together by a common interest, or shared mission.

That resonates strongly with our club , our people and the culture we work hard to build and maintain.

These jerseys were designed and created to honour a close friend, who sadly passed away at an early age, but it also pays tribute to the many incredible people, families and players who are the heartbeat of Logan basketball and it's family culture.🤙💜 #basketball #whanau #buzzcity #hoops #biggerthanbasketball
