spider-punk somehow made spider-man even cooler 🕷️🕸️

hobie brown aka spider-punk was first introduced in the comics in 2015, and made his onscreen debut in 2023 in across the spider verse

since then he has quickly become a fan favorite for many including myself, largely due to his punk aesthetic that includes nods to both music and art

but recently i saw an interview clip of the actor who plays him, daniel kaluuya, which made me want to do a deep dive on why i resonate with the character, and why he feels people do too

is spider-punk your favorite spider-man? why do you like him if so? i'd love to hear all of your thoughts below 🫂⬇️
