Working on the masks of The Player. 🎭♟️

One of the masks represents our darker side, the part of us we often try to hide.

But that darker side matters too. It holds instinct, anger, desire, sexuality, power, and the part of us that knows when softness is no longer enough.

So I broke this mask and brought it back together piece by piece, inspired by the Japanese art of kintsugi. The cracks remain visible. Gold does not erase what happened. It gives the fracture a place in the whole.

There are moments when being “good” is not what is needed. Sometimes we need to protect ourselves, set a boundary, make the difficult move, and let that darker side step forward.

The Player. Work in progress. 🎭♟️
