🟠 #BITCOIN IS NOW LESS THAN 80,000 BLOCKS AWAY FROM THE NEXT HALVING 👀

Another major Bitcoin milestone just passed.

Fewer than 80,000 blocks remain until Bitcoin reaches block 1,050,000 and the network automatically cuts new BTC issuance in half.

Right now:

➡️ Block subsidy: 3.125 BTC
➡️ Next halving: Block 1,050,000
➡️ Post-halving subsidy: 1.5625 BTC
➡️ Current daily issuance: ~450 BTC
➡️ Post-halving issuance: ~225 BTC

In other words 👉 Bitcoin's new supply is programmed to become scarcer.

No central bank meeting.

No government vote.

No committee deciding whether to change monetary policy.

Every 210,000 blocks, Bitcoin simply follows the rules written into its protocol and cuts the rate of new supply in half.

And now fewer than 80,000 blocks stand between Bitcoin and its next supply shock.
