Good morning my beautiful people! It’s officially week from my birthday and we are on DAY 24/31 — EXPECT ✨

Manifestation:
I manifest the audacity to expect good things without preparing myself for disappointment.

Whew. That one feels like where we are now.

I’ve realized there can be a strange safety in expecting the worst.

If I don’t get too excited, I can’t be disappointed.

If I don’t expect too much from people, they can’t let me down.

If I prepare myself for what could go wrong, maybe it won’t hurt as badly if it does.

But that’s not protection.

Sometimes that’s an old survival strategy wearing a new outfit.

I’m learning that I can be wise without being pessimistic.

I can use discernment without assuming something is wrong.

I can walk into a room without wondering whether I belong there.

I can launch something and believe people will support it.

I can dream BIG without immediately creating a backup plan for disappointment.

And if something doesn’t unfold the way I hoped?

I’ll handle that when I get there.

I refuse to make myself experience disappointment before anything has even happened.

Today, I choose expectation.

Not entitlement.
Not fantasy.
Expectation rooted in possibility.
