Democratic Gov. Hochul leads Republican Bruce Blakeman by 11 percentage points in a new poll published by Marist University.

The survey said Hochul holds a 53-42 lead over the Nassau County executive.

The margin closely matches the results of a Siena University poll two weeks ago that said Hochul leads 50-41. But whereas Marist queried registered voters across New York State, Siena surveyed likely voters — those with a strong record of regularly voting and say they are highly likely to vote this year.
