I can’t believe how many people visit Kyoto and miss Otagi Nenbutsuji Temple!

Nestled in the peaceful Arashiyama area, this temple is
home to over 1,200 unique stone statues - each with its own unique (and sometimes hilarious) expression.

It’s such a fun and different experience compared to the more traditional temples. Strolling through feels like stepping into a secret world away from the crowds. 🎋⛩️

Location: About 15 min from central Arashiyama by taxi or bus
Entrance Fee: ~300 yen
