I think we found the most underrated region in Europe 🤯

We spent 5 days road-tripping through South Bohemia with visitsouthbohemia and I can’t believe this region isn’t on more people’s radar — castles, medieval towns, beer baths, and lake sunsets all within short drives of each other.

DAY 1 — Blatná → Zvíkov → Tábor
📍 Beer 🍻 bath at Spa Blatná, feeding deer at Blatná Castle castle.blatna , then Zvíkov Castle — the “King of Czech Castles”
🛏️ Stay: hotel_nautilus_tabor 
🍽️ Dinner: Goldie Restaurant — recommended by the Michelin Guide

DAY 2 — Tábor → Třeboň → České Budějovice
📍 Medieval streets of Tábor Old Town, then Třeboň + the Schwarzenberg Tomb
🛏️ Stay: grandhotel.zvon right on the main square
🍽️ Dinner: traditional Czech cuisine at the Grandhotel Zvon restaurant
🍺 Beer stop: Masné Krámy (iconic beer hall serving Budweiser Budvar) or Solnice — beer arrives through an underground pipeline

DAY 5 — Lipno nad Vltavou
