The City of Tampa is getting a pro women’s basketball team in 2027 🏀⛹️‍♀️

The Tampa Bay Area is no stranger to expansion franchises or new leagues, and we are now getting a pro women’s basketball team!

Comment BALL for the full details

The UpShot League, backed by several big name investors, is still working on gaining traction and remains secondary to the WNBA. However, with women’s basketball becoming more popular than ever, there is optimism that a secondary league can catch on.

We are beyond pumped to have another great sports team in the area! 📣🥳

Ownership is asking locals to help name the team. What do you think the name should be? 👀
