A 7-year-old Georgia boy was hit by a pickup truck while crossing the street to his school bus stop, leaving him in a medically induced coma for seven days. #TopDogLawPartner

This week on #TSRInvestigates, we travel to Rome, #Georgia, where a routine morning walk to the school bus stop turned into a family’s worst nightmare. Seven-year-old #AidenRansom was crossing Chateau Drive to join his older brother when he was struck by a Ford F-150 pickup truck, sustaining a traumatic brain injury and multiple fractures that left him in a medically induced coma for seven days.

Despite the severity of Aiden’s injuries, local police allowed the driver to leave the scene without filing criminal charges, sparking outrage and raising serious concerns about traffic safety during peak school commute hours. jus2ice sits down with Aiden and his father, Travon—who was also hit by a car on the very same street just a year prior—to examine street safety, driver accountability, and how the community is coming together to support Aiden’s long recovery.

The case raises a larger question: Are our kids safe walking to the school bus? Click the link in bio to watch the full episode 🎥
