WINE VALLEY

For the better part of a decade, winevalleygolf has been at the top of my list of courses to visit.  Being a kid from WA, the chatter has long been loud regarding how good Wine Valley is.  But with Walla Walla being as remote as it is, and my not living in the PNW anymore, it's felt even further away.

In September I flew up to WA on 10 hours notice with a strong forecast to make up a shoot from this summer at a club near Seattle, and do a media visit at the new River Ranch in Pasco.  It sorta felt now or never on if I would see Wine Valley, so, I went for it. 

I ripped into the parking lot with 4 hours of daylight left, ran to the first tee with camera, drone, clubs, and I chased every last ounce of daylight out of those fields, putting out on the 18th in the dark.

To say that it was worth the wait and trip is a major understatement.  What an incredible routing, property, and pile of fun it is out in wine country.  I'll be back.  And with River Ranch going in 40 min down the road, I hope more and more people are going to get out to WV.  It's so dang good.
