Why does everything a Black actor does have to revolve around being Black?

Da'Vinchi sits down with Cam Newton on Funky Friday to discuss breaking away from stereotypical acting roles, his desire to explore science fiction and superhero projects, and why he wants opportunities to play characters whose stories aren't defined by their race.

The conversation takes a personal turn when Cam asks whether Da'Vinchi would openly date outside his race. Da'Vinchi discusses interracial relationships, the potential backlash of dating a white woman in the public eye, and why he believes society shouldn't dictate who someone can love.

From Hollywood expectations to interracial dating, Da'Vinchi opens up about wanting the freedom to exist beyond the labels people place on him.
