## Caption

Saddened to hear about the passing of chargers legend Billy Ray Smith. Having lived in San Diego for 15 years, his voice was part of my mornings, listening to he and Scott Kaplan everyday on AM 1090. I had the pleasure of meeting BR a couple of times, one pictured here at a symposium we spoke at in San Diego. And briefly sharing the airwaves with him during my sojourn as the hopeful PA voice of the padres was awesome for me as a fan. My heart goes out to his family and friends. Godspeed, 54. Rest well, sir. #greatfriends
