SMFK Los Angeles Century City Boutique Opening ✨

This project is SMFK’s brand-new store in Century City, Los Angeles. It carries through the brand’s core tone of industrial minimalism and light-luxury streetwear, with a design focus on contrasting material textures, a unified metal system, and the continuous presence of brand symbols—creating a premium, restrained, and highly recognizable overseas flagship retail space.
The interior flooring uses matte limestone, warm and understated in texture, naturally refined and high-end, laying a clean and serene spatial foundation. The walls are uniformly finished with light-colored concrete-textured paint, retaining a delicate yet raw, unadorned texture to create an airy, clean, minimalist industrial atmosphere.
Clothing rails and display tables are all custom-made from 5% gloss hairline stainless steel, with a soft luster and rich layered texture, reinforcing the brand’s avant-garde tone through understated metallic quality. Furniture is upholstered in rugged wild cowhide in brown and dark grey, balancing the cold hardness of stone and metal with raw, natural leather grain, while injecting vintage warmth into the space. Furniture details are embedded with a metal cross-flower logo, subtly integrating brand symbols into spatial details.
The exterior facade uses transparent floor-to-ceiling glass with hairline stainless steel frames, fully echoing the interior metal material system to achieve visual integration inside and out. The door handles feature an exclusive cross-flower design, forming a complete symbolic loop with the interior logo elements and further strengthening brand recognition.
Overall, the design creates a material dialogue among raw stone, fair-faced texture, textured stainless steel, and rugged leather. Within a restrained minimalist framework, it highlights SMFK’s unique street luxury and international store presence.
