I write this with the heaviest, most broken heart imaginable. Our sweet Moon boy has inexplicably crossed the rainbow bridge. Being out of the country right now, I am in complete shock, I’m devastated and don’t have many eloquent words, but I’ll try. It all happened within hours. Moonie had no clue what was happening and he was in his favorite place, the arms of his daddy. He was so loved and loved so much — he was an angel and fulfilled his job to keep his home, siblings and other daddy safe, especially after the end of our relationship, he really became the man of the house. I am absolutely crushed to only have been there on facetime, it’s an unbearable pain I hope no one experiences. But in true Leo fashion, I know Moon loved being the center of attention yet again, up until his final moments. Equal parts naughty & nice, he was the shining star of our family, the keeper of the gardens, the most beautiful boy and the fiercest, most loyal protector. How lucky we are to experience the unconditional love of our animals in this lifetime and what a deep sadness it is we must pay in this heartbreak when our precious time comes to an end. To everyone who’s been here since thehuskypac days, thank you for loving our babies as much as we do.  To the moon & back again, my sweetheart. Seven years was far too little.
