Not many meals will have me leaving Boston but this is one of them 

The Fireplace Feast at Salem Cross Inn in West Brookfield is one of the coziest things you can do in Massachusetts this winter. 

Here’s what you get:
🐴 A horse-drawn wagon or sleigh ride (weather permitting)
🍷 Mulled wine or cider when you arrive
🥣 Chowder simmered in a cast-iron cauldron over the hearth (you can even help stir it!)
🥩 Prime rib roasted over wild cherry logs on a c. 1700 Roasting Jack, the only authentic one still working in America
🥧 New England apple pie with fresh whipped cream

It’s $89 per person with tax and gratuity included. It runs November through April on Fridays and Saturdays at 5:30 and Sundays at 12:30.
