When you hug someone who has inspired you for years… and apparently forget to let go. 🥹❤️

@patijinich and I have been “online friends” for over a decade, and we first met in person about 10 years ago. Through all those years, she’s been nothing but kind, encouraging, and supportive. She even wrote a beautiful blurb for my Muy Bueno Fiestas cookbook, something I’ll always treasure.

I’ve admired Pati for so long, not just for her incredible talent, but for the passion and heart she pours into celebrating Mexican food, culture, and the stories that connect us.

There’s something really special about admiring someone and discovering they’re every bit as genuine and warm in person. And even more special when that person has cheered you on along the way.

Gracias, Pati, for always being so generous with your encouragement and for sharing our beautiful cultura with so much corazón. ❤️🇲🇽
