Journey to Baby Holmes 🤍 | Part 3: Baby Holmes

After two unsuccessful IUIs, we went into IUI #3.

But this time, I decided to do something different.

Instead of constantly thinking about the outcome, counting down the days, analyzing every symptom, and wondering “Did it work?”… I tried to simply be present in my life.

I prayed. I lived. I enjoyed my husband. I kept moving.
And then the two-week wait came… and went.

One Saturday morning, after my husband left, I decided to take a pregnancy test.

And it was POSITIVE.

I immediately went numb.

I can’t fully explain what happened in that room, but I felt the presence of the Holy Spirit so strongly. I started crying, and all I could do was thank God.

Over and over again.
“Thank You, Jesus.
Thank You, Jesus.
Thank You, Jesus.”

After four years of waiting, praying, disappointment, uncertainty, and quietly believing for this moment…

God answered our prayer. 🤍

Our journey to Baby Holmes wasn’t the journey I imagined, but every hill, every valley, every tear, every appointment, every needle, every negative test, and every moment of waiting led us here.

And now, I’m so grateful that I get to share this testimony.

If you are currently in a waiting season, I pray our story reminds you that you can keep believing even when you don’t know how the story will end.

Your waiting season may look different from ours. Your answer may come differently than you imagined. But I pray you continue to trust God in the unknown.
