## Caption

Nick Veasey has spent decades photographing what we’re normally never meant to see.

Using X-ray technology, the British artist strips away the surface of everyday objects, from cars and motorcycles to clothing, flowers and the human body, revealing the structures hidden underneath.

For larger subjects, Veasey creates multiple X-rays and carefully combines them into a single image, turning a technology associated with medicine and security into a photographic process.

The result is strangely familiar and completely different at the same time.
