I am 1 in 4. 👣 

STORY: Beginning of Summer in 2020, I lost my first dog DiNozzo. A week after losing him I missed my period. I’ve always had struggle with having a consistent time for period so I didn’t think too much of it and thought the stress of losing DiNozzo was the cause. Another week went by and I took a pregnancy test and it was positive. Jon and I thought this was a sign from God to help us heal. 

I started hurting a lot and it was more pain than I anticipated for the start of pregnancy. I went to a doctors appointment and they ignored my concerns and told me that baby and I were alright and I was experiencing normal things. I deep down had a feeling that it wasn’t “normal”. Another week went by and I was in severe pain while working at CLTN. I remember almost passing out in the bathroom when Jon was helping me hang pictures up. I went into the doctors again and they said everything was still normal and baby was still alive and well. I was frustrated at this point because I knew something wasn’t right. I scheduled another appointment (almost 2 months pregnant at this time) and the doctors finally told me that I miscarried. 

It’s never gets easier to say that this happened. Jon and only a few of my closest friends knew about it at the time. Not even my parents. Now that Cruz is here it’s crazy to think he could have had a big brother or sister. I wish no one to go through this experience. I learned to trust my gut & I never went back to that doctors when I found out I was pregnant with Cruz.
