Isabella County commissioners approved updates to the county’s 911 plan and a new emergency management program during the meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 6.

The 911 update removes two outdated agencies from the county’s official plan after state officials found the list was not compliant with state law. Commissioners also replaced the county’s emergency management policy from 1992 with a new program outlining how the county prepares for and responds to emergencies.
