“This spring, I was honored to share the stage with my friend and role model Luke Karel as we delivered our TedxKU talk, “The Small Things: Celebrating the Moments Most People Walk Past.” Our talk imparted some of the lessons that we have learned as young cancer survivors, encouraging everyone to celebrate the small things and step up in small ways for others.
